NocNoc look to leveraged AI-driven personalization to make product discovery seamless and intuitive, helping more visitors convert quickly while increasing the size and speed of their purchases.
The project is still ongoing, but early R&D has laid the foundation for a new AI-powered recommendation funnel. The expected outcomes include:
Given the wide scope, drived.dev started by identifying key user pain points:
We chose to focus on the dream-home builders—roughly 40% of NocNoc’s buyers—because they spend more on average and offer a powerful opportunity to differentiate. By creating tailored solutions for this segment, we laid the foundation for scalable AI-driven personalization across the entire platform.
Dream Home Builder User Persona
Imagine a first-time homeowner standing in an empty space, unsure how to start. Instead of scrolling through endless catalogs, they upload their floor plan, pick a reference image for inspiration, and let AI bring the room to life with stunning, realistic designs.
From there, a second AI algorithm seamlessly links each design element to real products on NocNoc, creating a personalized shopping journey that turns inspiration into action. What was once overwhelming becomes effortless—encouraging more visitors to explore, buy faster, and purchase with confidence.

NocNoc Solution: Inspiration to Action
Users begin by uploading their current room layout. This provides the system with real context about their space, style, and needs.
The system then analyzes the image and presents similar styles, products, and mood boards from NocNoc’s catalog, helping users connect their ideas with real options.
Finally, users can browse and purchase matching or complementary products directly on the platform, making the transition from inspiration to purchase seamless.
By framing the process this way, we aimed to reduce friction, build trust in the AI suggestions, and help NocNoc’s users move naturally from dreaming to doing.
One of the harder parts of the project was striking the right balance between what’s technically possible and what feels good for users. An AI recommender isn’t just about getting high accuracy — if the suggestions feel random or disconnected, users won’t trust it.
We spent a lot of time in R&D, experimenting with different models for detecting and classifying furniture more accurately. On the design side, we thought through how to surface AI suggestions in a helpful, intuitive way—so that users feel guided, not pressured or confused.
With the new AI-driven funnel, NocNoc is projected to significantly improve customer satisfaction, while opening opportunities for:
